We envision a representative democracy where the Asian Indian community is actively engaged, highly represented, and possesses the political power to shape an equitable, culturally rich, and collaborative state.
OUR STRATEGY
Achieving this vision requires transforming our community's immense professional, cultural, and economic contributions into collective civic influence. We build power by educating voters, organizing grassroots coalitions, and serving as a bridge between DFL leadership and the diverse subgroups within the South Asian diaspora.
OUR PLAN
Toward this end, MAIDA recruits and supports candidates who champion our values, hosts community-led forums, translates complex legislative agendas into relevant community conversations, and trains the next generation of Asian Indian leaders.
